Information we collect about you

When do we collect information?

We will collect information from you:

  • via LinkedIn;
  • when you become a member of Fintech Founder Society;
  • when you sign up for our newsletter; and
  • when you contact us.

What information will we collect and why?

We may collect the following information:

  • Your contact details, such as your name and email address; and
  • Your job title.

We use this information to send newsletters and emails about third party products, services and events that may be of interest to you based on your role.

Data retention

We are committed to only keeping your personal data for as long as we need to in order to fulfil the relevant purpose(s) it was collected for, as set in this Notice, and for as long as we are required or permitted to keep it by law. We typically delete your personal data after three years if we have not heard from you.

Automated Processing

We do not make use of automated processing or decision making.

How will we use your information?

We use your personal data:

  • to register you as a member of Fintech Founder Society;
  • to deal with any queries, complaints or problems reported by you;
  • to generate statistics relating to use of Fintech Founder Society. We do not use personally identifiable information for these purposes unless we have obtained your consent; and
  • to send you email newsletters with information about products, services and events that we think may be relevant to your role.

We only ever send you information and newsletters when we have obtained your specific and informed consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

How will we protect your information?

If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy policy.
